Money in Paris
The currency in France is the Euro (€) which most visitors are now very familiar with. Cash can be obtained from ATMs which are located throughout the city. If you want to take cash to change whilst you are there, you can do so at a bank, Your accommodation provider will be able to advise you where your nearest bank is located. Banks are generally open between 9am and 4.30pm on weekdays and some open on Saturdays.
Credit cards are widely accepted throughout the city in hotels, restaurants and at tourist sites.
Travellers cheques can be exchanged at banks and bureaux de change throughout the city.
